How much are you willing to pay?
According to an article in PC World, users should be willing to pay an annual $10 fee to happily tweet away. As Twitter has grown rapidly while operating for no fee, spammers have also had their free roam. Paying the small annual fee would help eliminate the spam and spambots that come with free programs.
The $10 would be charged to every account. After two months of issuing the fee, if the user hasn’t paid up via credit or debit, that account would be deleted.
A company of 60 people probably does need a bit more income to effectively run the phenomena that Twitter has come to be. Ten bucks probably won’t break the bank… let’s see if Twitter thinks so too!
