Reading Rainbow App: When I was a young girl, I won a Reading Rainbow  award for my original book series about a bear named Teddy. Go me.  Well now the show is becoming an app – incorporating classic show segments, video “field trips” staring original host Levar Burton and narrated interactive books.

Outfitting for the Weather: I’m one of those people who don’t check the weather before leaving the house. Usually, I find myself dressed for Miami when it’s cloudy and raining. iOS app, Cloth, an app that lets users save, categorize and share their favorite outfits, has partnered with Weather Underground to use real-time weather data to pull the best outfits from your closet and recommend what you should wear.

I will admit it: I love the Olympics. There is something about the whole world coming together yet battling each other that I find rather intriguing. Check out Olympic Logo A Day, featuring the logo made out of different stuff. This guy has been at it since July 2011, he must REALLY love the Olympics.
