App to Broadcast Location: In what I feel would be incredibly useful to the victims on “Criminal Minds” or the daughter in “Taken,” app Mapfia will broadcast your location for the duration of a phone call. So when you are lost in the woods or in an abandoned building, the app uses geo-locating capabilities to tell those on the other end of the line where you are.

We Are Lucky: We love this project set up by someone who recently came into a lot of money — They set up a site and decided to give away 1,000 pounds a day to complete strangers who would do something positive with the cash.

Disappearing Ink: In order to motivate book buyers to read books more promptly, an Argentinean independent publisher is printing books with a special ink that will disappear once in comes into contact with sun and air, completely disappearing after two months of opening the book.
